For Guides who went to Cambodia for Service Learning - Leaders of the 4 SL groups: Please note: 1) Inform your group members to meet at school foyer Time: 10am Objective: To complete the write-up for Cambodia Service learning project. 2) Come with the soft copy write-up of the service learning activity that your group was in charge of during the trip. 3) The write-up should consist of: - Cover Page - Contents Page - Objective of the Cambodia Service Learning trip + your group's objective in carrying out the various activity. - Write-up on the preparation of activity/lesson (include no. of hours, date(if possible) and photos of the preparation process. - Write-up on the actual activity and lesson in Orphanage/School (include photos) - Reflection of individual member of group (Learning points) - Short reflection of the other aspects of the trip including the visit to Ang Kor Wat, Tonle Sap, Genocide museum, Guides Cambodia, etc and what you learnt during the trip. (include photos) - Names of Group members and group photo. 4) Bring your own colored paper for printing. Plain white paper will be provided for the printing of service learning booklet. See ya all!! Hi girls, Mrs Dass has requested that ALL girls be present for the final meeting on 25th Nov 09 due to the poor attendance during the supposed 'last meeting' last Friday. Please report to ITR1 at 10am in your blue polo shirt and shorts/skirt. There are still loose ends to tie up before we close for the end of the year. Girls going to Cambodia please be ready to present your plans and Cambodia research again. The rest of you are to BRING YOUR GUIDE HANDBOOKS so that Mrs Dass can sign them. Since not everyone is able to access to the internet at home, PLs and PSs please take the initiative to ensure that everyone gets this message and that everyone is present, unless they have valid reasons for their absence. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to know who is absent and why and report this to Mrs Dass that day. Once again, the meeting is at 10am and will start latest at 1010am. Hey girls! Please take note that there will be a meeting tomorrow(19/11/09) 9am at ITR1. Report in your blue polo shirt and shorts/school skirt. Please bring your guide handbook. Girls going to Cambodia are to be prepared to present to your sister guides on the research that Mrs Dass has asked you to do during the pre-trip briefing. In case you forgot, research on: -history -culture/traditions -geography -economy You are expected to be ready to present as we will not give you time to prepare yourselves beforehand. GUIDES MEETING this friday (23/10/2009) Time: 2.15pm DO NOT BE LATE! Attire: Full u. Please tie plaits and no ankle socks. as for the sec 1s, who don't have the full Full u, wear half u (polo tee & guides skirt). tie plaits and no ankle socks either. Sec 3s, (Avriel, Jie Ru, Yvonne, Hui Fang, Hwee Min, Michelle & Kristy) please build the flagpole by the time we start. Please bring the cookie boxes and your guides handbook tomorrow (use pencil to indicate on the areas of the 5 point programme that you have done - do this before you come for guides). Those who are going for the Cambodia trip, please bring your passports as well, except sec 3s. Reminder: remember to do your research on your camp countries.
